Everyone at 1AX has in-house hotel industry experience, so you’ll never have to explain anything to us—we speak the language, we’re familiar with day-to-day operations, and we know how to read a STR.

Leigh Silkunas

  • With 15+ years of experience in the hospitality industry and a natural aptitude for analytics, Leigh is passionate about driving top-line revenue for hospitality  brands. Leigh started her career in New York City as a revenue management trainee and advanced through progressively senior revenue management and digital marketing roles with Starwood, Kimpton, and Commune Hotels. She served as the first head of marketing at Sonder, where she led the innovative startup through its rebrand, launch, and beyond. She has been recognized in Hotel Management Magazine’s Thirty Under 30 list.

Before joining 1AX, Brittney worked in digital marketing for companies including Reunion Resort & Golf Club in Kissimmee, Florida, where she served as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, crafting compelling marketing collateral and managed strategic scheduling for social media and email campaigns. Brittney brings a full suite of digital marketing skills to the table, with a special emphasis on paid search.

Over the years, she has led initiatives across luxury, boutique, and lifestyle hotels, always aiming to tell authentic stories that resonate with travelers across every channel.
