ABOUT

Inn Above Tide is an intimate luxury waterfront hotel in Sausalito, California, perched directly on the San Francisco Bay.

Nearly all 33 rooms and suites open onto private furnished decks with sweeping water views. Downtown Sausalito and the San Francisco ferry are both an easy walk away.

The OPPORTUNITY

A commercial analysis of the property flagged opportunities to upgrade its technology and marketing practices.

1AX was brought in to elevate the digital marketing program and build a cohesive 360 strategy that would enhance the property's existing success and unlock new revenue.

The Action

1AX refreshed the website and photography for both beauty and accuracy, then built on the existing SEO foundation to fully optimize every page for search engines and answer engines alike. From there, we launched a coordinated acquisition campaign across Paid Search, Metasearch, Paid Social, Email, and Display.

Tactics included updating local listings, adding schema markup, and enhancing the frequently asked questions page. Paid tactics doubled down on what was working, Bing Campaigns and Google Branded Search, while growing the property’s awareness through Display Retargeting, Performance Max, and AI Max.

We analyzed all tactics and shifted strategies weekly to adapt to changes in consumer behavior and booking patterns as the property entered peak season.

The Results

In 1AX Consulting’s first month of service, Inn Above Tide experienced immediate, substantial period-over-period increases.
